Applying solids:  Our solid shades can be a little trickier.  Check out this video (6 min).  Additionally, if your nails are weak, you may find that the solids begin to crack.  This happens to glitter strips as well, it’s just not as noticeable.  Try applying a nail strengthener as a base coat.  Some people have also said that apply a liquid top coat or our Clear as Day Nail Set as a top coat helps prevent the cracks and help the nails last longer.  Another option is to apply 2 layers, just like you’d apply 2 coats of liquid nail polish.

Temperature matters:  Store & use nail strips at room temperature and handle with warm hands. Nail strips may become more pliable in the heat and more rigid in the cold. Also, do not leave nail strips in excessive heat or cold for prolonged periods of time. Do not leave strips under direct sun or LED lighting.

Wait:  Do not apply lotion to hands immediately before or after application.  Likewise, do not submerge your hands in water (i.e., wash dishes, take a shower, etc.) immediately after applying. Your nails will be dry to the touch, but wait about 15 minutes to give the polish time to fully cure before washing them and applying lotion.

Storing your nails strips after opening the package: These nail polish strips are guaranteed for one-time use.  However, many have found that storing the unused sets in a mason jar, or resealing them in the plastic sleeve with a flat iron or vacuum sealer, can help them last for a second use.  These techniques are not guaranteed.
